Firstly, the fact it changed to the points system when it was a personal decision to begin with and to change it without notifying customers - on top of that I now have a 240GB loyalty add on that I can only use in 150 days - where it takes up the subscription data first I find incredibly stupid and a massive slap in the face to loyal customers. Also who could go through that much data in such little time? At least make it a lifetime add-on or bare minimum a year.
Oh - and I just changed subscriptions and granted it stated it in the fine print, but I'm certain and know I will lose that loyalty bonus as soon as it changes in a few days. So instead of getting a deduction $ off my subscription like I used to for years, I am essentially left with nothing - I am sure I am not the only one who is irritated by this decision.

Yes, many people are irritated. Some of us downgraded from plans which are no longer available and then found that the bonus data was taken away because PM did not make it very clear that this would happen.
It is possible to send a message to an agent to get back some of your bonus data, but it is a real hassle with the backlogs.

Be that as it may, that decision benefits the company and very few customers, I can understand they want new customers and that is who benefits the most of this change but the points system compared to what it was before rewarded loyal customers. Just disappointed to see another good company make another money driven decision as opposed to a customer based one.

I would suggest PM keep the bonus data in our account until it is all used up but I agree with you about the switch to the Points Reward.

hi @LR1323
we want it to be a life time thing but now, the life time of the data is really just 150 days
for the rewards change, PM made the announcement in the Community back in March and also sent us SMS and email. So, in terms to notifying us, they did what they can (of course, not everyone read the email and text 😞 )
