Just activated, but during activation referral code was not accepted ("Invalid Referral Code")

I opened a ticket and customer service Rep applied code successfully after activation.

When applying referral code you have to watch for typos: l - 1, O - 0, etc.
Did you do copy/past or you typed ref. code?
If it is not applied, open a ticket so agent can apply it manually.

check the code again, maybe ask your friend to send to you again. Don't get mixed up with 1 or I or 0 and O
or you can skip that for now, and after activated, ask support to add it back for you
