I see some posts here but no answers. How do you get a PUK on a new activation? Trying to set up for a friend. I sent a message to the mods but they seem to be busy as I got no response in over 24 hours.

I had to the phone maker. In this case it was Samsung and they were able to unlock and give me the PUK number. I'm all set now. Thanks

try calling Samsung at 1-800-726-7864 for a master unlock code.
The only info you will need to provide is the IMEI and where the phone was purchased

I have both the PIN and the PUK numbers. My old mobile "PC mobile " tells me that the number was entered too many times and that we need to call the manufacturer. It's a Samsung but where do you call for that....I getting the run around with everyone I call or talk too
It is asking for the SIM Network Unlock PUK.

Is your phone asking for a SIM Network Unlock PUK? If you get that code from the original carrier, keep in mind that you will still also need the SIM Network Unlock PIN. The SIM Unlock PUK only make it so that the device will once again accept the network unlocking code. The SIM Network Unlock PIN is the code that actually unlocks the devices so that it can be used at other carriers.

is it really sim card puk? if it is sim card puk, PM can help, you just need to message them

if you message them yesterday already, check if they responded here

but if the phone was never used on PM or Telus before, it is likely a locked phone, not something PM can help. You need to go back to the service provider who sold you the phone or where you can used it without problem
