Just switched to PM, esim not showing up even though said was installed correctly

Hi,

Just switched to PM, and after installing the PM app, it said the esim was installed. However, after porting over the number and removing the old physical sim, the esim does not appear as an option. So now, I have no network service at all and the Iphone 14+ is just showing SOS.

I went back to the intro email and tried to add esim by scanning the qr code and it says unable to install,

Not sure what to do now.

Any help would be very appreciated.

I had the same issue after connecting tonight and fixed it by going into my iPhone settings after fully turning my phone off and on, going to Cellular, and turning one of my two same # SIMs off from old provider, and enabling the other one with my same # that was listed as Off under Public Mobile when clicked on. I was soon left with dots searching for connection in the top right corner to be met with multiple signal bars on PM I renamed PM to Primary and the other as Secondary yet Off of course. 🙂 Try that!

no, esim won't showup if it was not installed earlier.  🙂

Rebooted and reset the network connections 3Xs, and esim still not showing up, and scanning the qr code still not successful. Getting desperate...sigh

in this case, please message PM support and they will send you the QR code for manual esim installation

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on top right) after the ticket is opened.  CS Agent will reply to you there

Yes, checked and no Public Mobile sim at all

@AilieSullivan did you check the Sim Manager or the Settings > Cellular screen?? please check.  If you see a Public Mobile sim there, them make sure it is enabled, or on iPhone, make sure it is set as Primary and "Turn on this line" is on

Try resetting the devices network connections after a reboot.
