I have just switched to Public Mobile. Their system will not accept my RBC Avion card. RBC says they are accepting the payment but it is bouncing back due to something within Public Mobile. Several on-line discussions with Public Mobile Customer Service who say it is not a problem on their end. I have tried to enter this on 3 different computers plus the app and none will work. To set up the account and have the phone transferred to Public I used a friends cc and it worked with no problem. I have never had this problem with my cc before. I have checked that all information is input correctly each time. Has anyone else experienced this and found a solution?

Did you recently receive a replacement credit card? Double check that the credit card is activated.

Thanks for responding. This is a new account so the first month is paid on friends cc.
I tried on the app and 3 computers. On two separate days. I will try again in a couple days to change the cc info.
Prefer to use cc auto payment each month. Never used vouchers before but may have to.

Thanks for responding. No I have not moved in 20+ years. Never used a voucher and would prefer to charge to a cc that happens automatically every month.

did you move lately and any chance the card registered address is different from where you are? At least couple reported that was the issue
and yes, many also report issues with updating the credit card. You can wait a day or even two days before trying again if you can wait.
But if you need to resume service and cannot wait any longer, try using voucher to resume this time. Buy one from Shoppers Drug mart and load the voucher using My Account or *611

PM payment system is glitchy sometimes
if your plan not expired or suspended yet and you still have time, please wait a day or even longer before you try again. When you try, try using both Incognito/private/secret mode on your browser and try with Public Mobile app (with Location Permission enabled)
but if your plan has already expired or you need to pay it very soon, then buy a voucher from Shoppers drug mart or Loblaws or No Frills and then load the voucher using *611 or My Account
This is the full list of retails that you can buy vouchers. Vouchers in some stores need to wait 24 hours, but vouchers from Shoppers and Loblaws can be redeemed immediately:
