I recently subscribed to Public Mobile, my sim is active and I am able to call/receive any network. However, I am unable to receive calls from Rogers number, sms works just fine both ways, not calls. Any idea

@ayaisam129

make sure PM sim is the only one in the phone and enabled

if you have an iPhone, update the Carrier Profile

Then Reboot phone and Reset network settings

but if still only cannot receive calls from Rogers, ask PM to check.   Just open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA when login, you might need to use email to receive if you cannot receive the text on the phone.) Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen

But if you have trouble with open ticket using Chatbot, then message them using this link: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

Hello @ayaisam129

As you've already stated that you ported recently from Rogers to Public Mobile but people who use Rogers can't get through. To me, it sounds like a split port. You should always reset your Network Settings when going over to a new service provider. This makes sure that only the one you're with, their info is there. After you do that, what you can do is turn your phone's airplane mode on for a full 10 minutes. Then, turn the phone off for a full 5 minutes. Then turn back on, turn off airplane mode and that will reset your connection to the Public Mobile network. Give that a try....

hi @ayaisam129

you ported from Rogers?

you removed the old sim card? if the old one is eSIM, make sure you disable the old eSIM.  And make sure PM sim is enabled and set as Primary. Then Reboot your phone once more and click Reset network settings and test again

if same, ask PM to confirm if the port was completed without issue and ask them to refresh the account.  You can contact PM support by submit  ticket using  direct message:
