I am using a Esim at the moment, is it possible to switch to a physical sim without losing service while the physical sim is being delivered?

When you switched, were you able to keep the same phone number?

I switched from an e-SIM to a Physical SIM Card on one of my Public Mobile Accounts last week and as soon as I Updated the SIM Card my e-SIM became unregistered and I had to manually delete it from Settings on my phone.
The new SIM Card began working immediately after updating in My Account Settings.

Updated: Do not switch to the Phsycial SIM until it has arrived, stay on your current e-SIM.
e-SIM is only available for new Activations, therefore if you switch off it to a Physical SIM you won't be able to use e-SIM on your existing Account again until it is introduced for everyone. - Likely in September as the iPhone 15 will likely be fully e-SIM in Canada, with the S24 following sometime around February 2024.
