I just signed up for PM. Received cancellation confirmation request from Bell. Can I switch to my new SIM now or do I have to wait for a notification?

Please note that your Bell account must be active to port your number over to PM so don’t cancel your account before porting over. Once you port over, your Bell account will automatically cancel.

@LAF1 so your replied YES to the confirmation text bell sent you to port , Once your bell sim stops working is good indicator to switch the SIM card , but dont toss bell SIM just yet and test the Public mobile SIM in the phone and reboot phone to test
adding @LAF1 by waiting until the bell sim no longer works will ensure you don’t miss any calls or messages . And you will get notification from bell that your services are off and you will no longer see bell in the top left of main phone screen
