Hi
I had a Community account and user name. Now it asks for my PM log in complete with email address. It then asks me to complete my profile by choosing a user name, but obviously it won't let me use my existing name as 'it is already in use'.
I created a new user name just to post this question, but how do I restore/access my old account?

@geordieboy, did this problem happen today? This morning one of my accounts lost access to the community account. Instead of asking me to create a new account, the login resulted in access to some other member's account. When I look at the eversafe ID for this community account, my email address was my email address. However, the name and phone number is someone else. I assume that somebody else has been given my community account. I have reached out to support and nobody has gotten back to me yet. I wonder if this is big database dumpster fire in progress. This could lead to security issues with customers having access to other's private messages or be able to impersonate others.

OK, but how do I access my 'old' account with its user name and posts? I can see them if I do I user search. How do I claim that user as me?

@geordieboy No it’s needs be email and you pick user name like you have now @geordieboy . And you won’t it to be same email as you use for your phone account so you can earn rewards in the community to help lower you bill

no such option, email as user name is the only way
