The 3G network plan $25/month is so slow, it is useless. Are they going to move the plans with 3G network to 4G network?
I heard in the USA got rid of their 3G network.

3G plans can still use the 4G and 5G networks with a capable device. The plan just limits your speed, not what network you can connect to.
Others have already spoken on the 3G network shut down. I'll just add that Public Mobile recently dropped all 3G plans from their current lineup, so anyone that has them is grandfathered. I doubt we'll see those plans back now.

@BKNS27 there is zero chance of Telus and Bell shutting down 3G by end of 2025.

@Ayr38 Several articles say end 2025 for 3G shutdown in Canada but supposedly that's never actually been confirmed by the carriers. Yes the US shut theirs down end 2022 which is why some people have problems roaming there because their phones are not VoLTE capable/enabled. But regardless, Public Mobile no longer offers any 3G plans so you may want to look at the newer offerings, such as the $29 for 40GB at 4G speed.

I'd be surprised if it occurs before end of 2025 ... we'll see.

Yes, all carriers in Canada will be decommissioning 3G in the Spring of 2025.
This is to make room for 5G and future frequencies.
Also, all owners of old outdated phones with 3G phones will need to look for a new phone.
Phones with 3G and 4G/LTE will be fine.

They will .... eventually.
I expect it'll be around to the end of 2025 at least.
Yes, the USA shut it down a couple years back.
