I'm looking at a new phone that says -This phone is unlocked and compatible with any carrier of choice on GSM and CDMA networks.
.... Is Public Mobile compatible with GSM and CDMA networks?

Hey @NBChris Oh for sure that phone will work. Allow me to take it one step further to protect yourself. I would take some time to set the phone up. Just set up the basic stuff. Then, do a factory reset of everything. The reason I say this is because 3rd party sellers are notorious for selling phones that are locked to a different service provider in the US. If you do a factory reset and it's still unlocked, you're good to go. If it's then locked, you have a chance to return it for a full refund. A lot of folks don't know about this. Hope this helps.

HI @NBChris
make sure the seller can be trusted and have full refund just in case
but an Apple iPhone 8 will work beautifully here

HI @NBChris
what phone is that? PM does not have GSM (usually means 2G) or CDMA network. PM only has 3G , 4G (LTE) or 5G network
if the phone you are looking for only has GSM and CDMA, it wont work here
