Is Fairphone 4 compatible?

Is Fairphone 4 compatible with Telus Mobility network? https://shop.fairphone.com/en/buy-fairphone-4

This device is unfortunately not listed in the phone checker section of PM web or on http://www.willmyphonework.net/

(In my understanding 3G will work, 4G only for the most part and the upcoming 5G won't work. Is that correct?)

Thanks!

 @Meow : Ill gotten gains? 🙂 It is an intriguing product for their "ethical" approach.

@Misha1

While a little pricey the sustainability, easily replaceable battery and parts and the 5 year warranty is hard to beat. The lower priced but similar Teracube out of the US is in such demand it is almost always out of stock. I will be interested to read your review if the Fairphone once you get one in your hands.

As long as phone can handle PM's frequencies it should work.

Ideally, if you already have it, find somebody with PM SIM and try it. That is the best test...

I would stick with big names as Samsung, Motorola, etc. (NO Apple, though!, he, he) and would not play around with other brands unless somebody gives them to me for free.

I know it hasn't 5G yet but I want my phone to be ready for near future.

you can't beat this phone if your priority is sustainability.

PM uses Bell and Telus towers which are 4G but throttles the speed to 3G.

It is compatible based on these specs.
