The same question always gets asked each time a new iPhone model hits the market.
And the same answer always applies:
Public Mobile is compatible with all iPhones. (Those submodels specifically intended for US/CA/NA or "Global" regions. Not those purchased through other channels which are specifically intended work only in other regions like Europe, India, Asia, etc.)
But not all iPhones are compatible with anything other than the network and provider which sells them to consumers. There are sometimes compatibility locks and limits and problems but they are not caused by Public Mobile and they are not caused by Apple. The Big Three still have ways of "carrier-locking" their devices and subscribers in practice - and their point-of-sales people will always claim none of their devices are locked - even though these practice are legally disallowed by CRTC Wireless Code.

So I guess it takes 7 replies of yes to be convinced. Lesson learned or of course they just select the last correct entry. More encouragement for repetitive replies.

With worldwide distribution of devices, it's always a good idea to ensure the device one is acquiring is intended for the North American market.
Virtually any device sold for use in North America will be compatible on the Public Mobile network.
One way you might want to 'test' this is to borrow an active SIM from friend/family who may also be on the PM network and place it in the device - if you can text & call (in and out), you're good to go!!!

Any LTE compatible phone manufactured for North American markets should 100% work on Public Mobile.
You may have to double check whether it is compatible if you buy or bring an phone from overseas.
