Hi there. I live in Toronto but when I use my data through Public mobile it shows that my location is in quebec? I have my location turned on so wondering why this is happening?
I had an on line order canceled from a seller because I asked item to be shipped to my house in Toronto and they said that it looked like a SCAM because my IP was Montréal

not for Telus. Telus uses Bell facilities for Ontario/Quebec/Maritime and they major data centre is in Quebec.. All traffic goes through there and hence it has a Quebec IP
@Dhlwtu why your selling able to track your IP?? unless he is the site owner, he should not be able to track your IP of you two just using 3rd party selling services. But again, you should let them know the Telus situation

It's quite common for cells to have ip based out of one area. My last one I had said I was in mississauga and I'm well north of there

@Dhlwtu - Yes, in the east, all Public Mobile users have Quebec IP. It is annoying for them.
You may want to use a VPN.
