If International texting is part of your plan, then how do you go about doing so to, for example Germany??

Calling Germany from the United States explained:
- 011 - US exit code; dial first for international calls made from the USA or Canada
- 49 - Country Code for Germany
- Phone Number (may not begin with 0😞
- fixed - 5 to 12 digits, including area code
- cell phones - 10 or 11 digits
- sample call from US to a landline in Frankfurt: 011 49 69 ???? ????
You'd need an International Calling Add-on to be able to call Germany...works while you're in Canada only. Available for $15 for 400 minutes that don't expire until you use them up.

Texting only works from Canada. If outside Canada or USA (roaming package) texting or any public mobile service for that fact does not work.

Public Mobility International texting will work within Canada. You may need to enter 011 49 then the number from Canada. It might be easier to use Whatsapp or Hangouts instead, if on wifi.
