International text and picture messaging?

The description for our 30 gb, 5G plan states unlimited data, Canada wide talk and text, and international text and picture messaging. Based on this would I be correct that we could text and send photos from Mexico without any data add on plan, or would we require an Airalo, or similar, data plan?

The 30gb plan will include unlimited calling and texting FROM Canada and there is a cap of 30gb of data. PM doesn't offer Roaming plans in Mexico...only Roaming plans in USA. Your plan doesn't include any service while in Mexico so you will need a local SIM from Mexico.

The international texting is only for messages originating in Canada (exept for the Canada - US plan).

Public Mobile doesn't offer roaming outside of the US, so you'll either have to get a local Mexican SIM, and/or work with messaging apps that work over WiFi. TextNow seems to be a popular one around here that would give you an actual Canadian number. Or if the receiving person has the same app WhatsApp etc could be used.
