I have almost 2000 INTL minutes from Christmas gifts. I am able to call the US with them. Here is a list of numbers you can't call. This is from 2016 and not sure if it's updated.

@myron40 - If you are buying it right now - the 300 minutes of LD does not include USA and U.K.

They are available with unlimited free minutes on any of the Canada-US plans, or with a set amount the More is Merrier bonuses.

1000 minutes is available for purchase to call USA from Canada if on a Canada-wide plan - unnecessary if on a Canada-US plan.
