International Calling to Jamaica from Canada

I have had the basic monthly plan which today I ungraded to include international calling. I still am unable to make calls to jamaica

You could purchase a long distance calling card or use Wi-Fi apps like Textnow, Skype, or Fongo.

If the international calling add on is no use to you now that you know it can't be used to call Jamaica you can contact the moderators and see if they would be willing to credit the $15 back to your account. No guarantees but it can't hurt to ask. If they insist that you have to trade it for another add on you could always get 3×$5/500min add on to supplement your plan or the $15/1gb add on that would be more use to you.

When you say "upgraded", presume you mean you added an international add-on.

Did you review the included countries on the add-on prior to purchasing?

Regrettably, even though Public Mobile calls it an "international" add-on, it really is a misnomer and they really should smarten up and call it a "selected countries" or "limited countries" calling add-on so people know to read further as to whether their preferred calling destination is on the list.

If I were you, I'd request they consider refunding you the cost of the add-on.   Request that they at least place the funds in your Available Balance so they can be used for future services/renewals.

Ask the Moderators for this by clicking on the white bubble to the bottom right and request Moderator assistance - follow the prompts to create a ticket for support.

Unfortunately, Public mobile does not support calling to Jamaica.

Sorry, but Jamaica cannot be called using Public Mobile service.  You'll have to use a third-party long distance company to complete the call or possible using internet messaging apps to speak to the person.
