So apparently I've accumulated two different sets of international bonus minutes from past Christmases or something. Since there's no "help" button next to them, I just wanted to clarify what I think I understand for their use. (the points program has more information buttons that are pretty clear to understand - I just don't know what I *already have* that I've never used)
So...
1. These minutes last forever until used?
2. These minutes are just deducted automatically when I make a call to wherever it is I'm calling? I don't need to do anything special to activate them?
3. Per the info for the POINTS version of international call minutes - it seems to exclude the United States and be for different overseas things. So I want to verify where my international minutes can or can't be used. Can I call the US with them, or do I need specific US points, or UK points, or are these everywhere minutes? It's not clear to me.
Thanks so much!

HI @Gidoza
yes, this is what people like about PM, no surprise billing. You can try calling a country and it won't connect if you don't hve the proper LD addon

Ohhhhh I didn't realize that trying to call a country won't connect if I don't have the service for it. I figured there was an automatic fee for calling countries outside of my "scope" like old phone plans. Appreciate the tip.

500 one-time Int'l LD bonus
So is this one where I CAN call or CAN'T call US and UK, I'm confused. Thanks to you and the other poster though - other than this I'm clear on everything. 🙂
Go ahead and give it a try. Call a number in the county you're concerned about and see if it connects. Don't worry about being billed for something later on. With this pre-paid service, the call will either complete or it won't and there's no risk of getting billed later on.

Hi @Gidoza
1. if you got that from Couple christmas ago, then they will stay until all used, no expiry
2. not whenever, only selected counties. this is the list
International Long Distance calling add-on covers the following countries: Canada, United States, China, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Italy, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, and Venezuela.
3. the holiday bonus minutes can be used to call US and UK
the paid 300 LD minutes cannot be used to call US and UK
US and UK have different specific LD addon
and remember those LD addons are to be called From Canada , and not to be used when you travel

1. These minutes last forever until used?...yes
2. These minutes are just deducted automatically when I make a call to wherever it is I'm calling? I don't need to do anything special to activate them?..correct

It's not clear to me....the add-on menu shows the specific countries you can call with each add-on. BUT...strange things happen in Public Mobile world...you might be able to dial a US number even though it doesn't specifically say so.
Thanks so much!
