I am a long time customer of Mibilicity -> Chatr . Before they provided some free roaming time when you are in US. I recently moved to US for some time , and at this point there is no roaming. I can't get calls , give calls, sent msg. The only thing I can do is to to get text msgs. Chatr dasn't have call support and they website is primitive.
My question , how in this situation can I switch to Public Mobiles, if I can't even get SIM card( because I am in US now). I am using Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ so may be eSIM could be an option.
Thank you.

Another option is to purchase a TextNow SIM card and port your number over.
Have a look at their options for plans but you will have an issue with replying to the confirmation text from Chatr while you are in the USA.

Most customers are able to port their numbers to Public mobile.
It is trickier to activate and port while you are in the United States though. You will need to respond to the port request text from Chatr. If you are unable to text by "yes" to Chatr, the port will not be completed. Much easer to do these things while in Canada.
As mentioned, you will likely need to get a newer phone if you want voice services with PM while in the United States. Your Samsung phone is older and not VoLTE compatible. Also, your phone does not accept eSIMs from the specs that I just checked.

you English is atrocious hard for me to understand...but...in answer to what I think is your question. You can port most Cdn numbers to your new Public Mobile account. You'll be given opportunity to initiate port during the activation process. You can port or take a number number, then port later if you want. Your old network account must be active in order to port successfully.

Only way to get PM service in while in USA is to get eSIM if your phone supports it.
Be aware that not all PM customers are satisfied with PM service in USA. Read Community forum to make final decision.

these are the only Samsung cells that are on the Public Mobile whitelist of VoLTE enabled phones....

hi @Igoresha
yes, PM support esim and you can activate with esim. But, from what I know, Note 10 does not have esim. Please check. Or you can order physical sim from Amazon and ask to ship to where you are now
but is voice a concern? PM is a bit picky with VoLTE and Note 10+ is not on PM's VoLTE whitelist:

In Canada, that is not a concern as you can use 3G for voice. But since US does not have 3G network, it might be problematic with voice calls. If you only care about mobile data, or you willing to use VoIP app like TextNow or app like Whatsapp for voice, then it is ok
