I purchased the US roaming add on (15 days) and haven’t been able to use my phone since I crossed the border last Saturday
what do I need to do to get the phone to work?

I’ve never had a problem using a US add on.
Did you enable data roaming? Did you connect to a US network? Which add on did you purchase? Did you make sure you had funds in your account to cover the purchase?

i had same problem with the roaming add on
even with at&t it did not work. can i get my money back?

What type of phone are you using? Did you confirm the purchase went through before you left? You can use WiFi and look at the app to confirm.
Edit: Sometimes a reboot does the trick. 🙂

Set the phone to automatic networks. It should find either T-Mobile or AT&T.
Set the phone to 4G LTE if you're on 5G to maximise connectivity to either roaming partner.
Do you know if your phone has been enabled for volte here yet? That's important for talk. Or you need to be able to set the phone down to 2G GSM for talk and only on T-Mobile. Coverage would be less than ideal.
