If my plan is ending nov 6, 2022, does the plan renewal automatically ?

On the night of your renewal your account status will change to suspended (but you will still have service) at about 9pm eastern. At midnight eastern your data counter and minute/text counters (on limited plans) will reset and your new 30 day cycle starts. At 2am eastern ( but often as late 9am) the payment system will debit accounts your plan amount. It will always debit from your available funds first ...if there is any or all of your plan amount still owing and you have autopay (aka pre-authorized payments) enabled the payment system will attempt one time to charge the amount owing to your payment card on file.

 

If the payment is approved your transaction history will be updated with your 30 DAY PLAN/$10 and your 100 MINUTES/$5 or DATA AT 3G/4G SPEED/$15+ amount and the date of the first day of your 30 day plan. If you have scheduled a change plan on next renewal this will be when your new plan is updated in your account.

 

If you have not manually topped up account balance or your autopay card is declined then autopay fails and your account is scheduled for suspension. You have 4 hours of grace time from 2am eastern (or when plan payments are taken whichever is later) to manually top up your account and reactivate your plan to avoid suspension or service disruption.

 

At 6am eastern (or later as mentioned) account status will change from suspended to active for accounts in good standing. Accounts whose payment has failed will be physically suspended and lose services. Accounts that have gone without payment for 90 days are permanently canceled and deactivated. At noon eastern 611 sends a text that you have successfully renewed...or not?

Provided that your credit card on file with PM hasn’t expired AND auto-pay is enabled on your account, then your plan should automatically renew on the date that you specified. Otherwise you will need to manually add funds to your account by credit card or top-up voucher.
