How can I get a phone though Public Mobile? I have a plan but I'm interested in also getting a new device

You can buy a new phone from most manufacturers (google.ca, samsung.ca, etc.). They won't be "subsidized" the way Bell, Rogers, etc., do it, but here's one way to look at it.
Google Pixel 7a (oldest cheapest actually in stock on Google Store) is C$599. Over 24 months, that's $25/mo. Add $25 to whatever plan you have with PM and compare the cost to a carrier that will sell you the phone.
BestBuy.ca has the Pixel 7 (OOS from Google) for $500 or about $21/mo.
Those are just examples. Obviously if you don't want to pay the full price up-front you'll also have interest charges. BB will finance but will still cost more than list price.
It's possible that another carrier will be cheaper than (PM Plan + phone). You have to do the math.

@Nathy PM, like other Tier 3 providers, is a BYOP provider
If you need phone to bend into the monthly fees, you need to check with Tier 2 or 1 providers like Koodo or Telus

@Nathy You cannot buy a phone from Public Mobile. They used to sell re conditioned phones but have stopped doing so. It is strictly a bring your own device service now.

I don't want a reconditioned phone, I want a new device. Other cell phone providers like Bell, Freedom etc five their customers the opportunity to get phones with their plans and add the cost of the phone to the monthly payment of the plan. How can I do that with Public Mobile?

@Nathy unfortunately PM doesn't sell phones any more. They used to sell pre owned phones but no more. They'll refer you to your local Mobile Klinik shop as that chain is also owned by Telus.
