@KaterinaK   if you are referring to the US roaming add-ons:

  • did you make sure your roaming was toggled on,
  • did you manually connect to either T-Mobile or AT&T?
  • did you check if your device is VoLTE enabled (if it is capable of that function)?

for knowledge sake...which add-on did you buy ? Could you give us some detail on what you experienced using the add-on.
