I signed up today like many to take advantage of the Black Friday deals. Long story short, I asked for a number that I had in 2022 with another network. The registration process should have threw up some red flags but did not, subsequently, when I call this number, it goes to that other person on my old carrier. Simple thing is to get a new number assigned in place of this.
Every other function works as expected except calls coming to this number. Outgoing calls / texts, are fine; incoming calls / texts get received by the other person and I can't sign in to my account to request a number change as it sends the verification code to the other person's phone.
