I have to wait 10 minutes to get into my account to do a monthly check…..what the .&$#

What’s the 10 minute wait for Black Friday Special queue all about??

No option to “skip” so I had to wait 10 minutes to do my monthly check to see if my 30 day payment was successful. 

Then…..where were the Black Friday specials??


An annoying, unnecessary and uneventful waste of time.. Shame on PM!!

There was no special offers for waiting in the virtual waiting room.  It was just a traffic management strategy to prevent the servers from being overloaded.  Things seem normal right now.

Yesterday I logged in, and was put into a 10 minute countdown to see Black Friday Specials. No option to “skip”. 
Had to wait out the 10 minutes.

@SeniorCitizen - Last year, Public Mobile had a server outage due to too many people flooding in on Black Friday. This year, they did it differently. Adding a waitlist. It even does the waitlist for New Customers in case if you are wondering if they are favoring the newer customers more.

It is annoying, but I don't need to use it that often, so I just wait it out as it is usually quicker than it estimates (Along with the time going up by 2 minutes at times).

Public is looking up at Freedom for the plans. Public is 1/2 companies that offer CAN-US-MEX plans for less than $50.

Sooooooo annoying. 


I saw this last night when I was checking my account. And I agree, I wasn't interested in any deals, I just wanted to check my account. Wasn't willing to wait 10 minutes. Tried this morning, got the info I wanted. Just another Public Mobile bug or oversight.

@SeniorCitizen I'm not sure what you mean. I have been in and out of my account on the app a few times today (including just now) and I haven't seen anything like you are describing.

it is not just a Public Mobile things, many sites had the effect from Black Friday.

But did you use App? App usually loads quicker
