I created a new account and did not do the esim yet. It is asking for me to authenticate the text

Any reason why the 2 factor auth is only letting me authenticate with a new phone number I haven't even setup through the app yet when trying to use the app to setup the esim on my phone?

Ok but I cannot authenticate on a new phone number when it is my first time using the app to activate the esim and phone number.

@AnnMcgarvie I had the same experience 2 days ago when I was setting up my father's account for the first time. It's just PM's way of authenticating that it's a real account
