Did you mean:

I can't make phone calls but I can receive them.

I've tested my sim card with another phone and it does the same. My phone has money on it. I've followed the bots advice and it's still not working Please advise what to do.

I will test this shortly as I just have to back up all the passwords.

I didn't close this. Someone else did. I'm still trying to figure it out. Going through all the suggestions now.

@RanyaDube did you mean to pick the solution you picked?

So you had this issues since you updated you IOS, AND you also have this issue when you move your SIM card into another phone? Are both these facts accurate?

Try manually select the 3G / WCDMA ONLY network in your Mobile Connections area in your settings (temporarily) to see if you can make calls. But probably isn't a permanent solution.

Perform a Reset of your device's Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, VPN and APN settings, and connected Bluetooth devices that you've used before.

Iphone:

To Reset Network Settings, begin by opening the Settings app. Next, tap General -> Transfer or Reset iPhone -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings. and enter your passcode.

Your iPhone will reset network settings and restart itself.

android:

Find and tap Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options > Reset network settings.

Check for outages in your area:

https://www.telus.com/en/on/outages

https://istheservicedowncanada.com/status/telus

https://downdetector.ca/status/telus/map/

Maybe try your SIM into another (3rd phone) and see if this happens.

If issues persist, submit a ticket to CSA for assistance.

To contact the Public Mobile Customer Support Agent (CSA)_Team, there are two methods to reach them found here:

@RanyaDube , this may seem like a silly question but when you make phone calls are you putting a 1 in front of the phone # when calling?

@RanyaDube have you tried more than 1 number?  Same result with multiple numbers or just the one?

No, it doesn't ring and I get the screen that shows the green call back button at the bottom of the screen.

@RanyaDube Do you get an error when you attempt to make a call?

It had been working. I updated the IOS of my iphone and I haven't been able to make a call for over a month now. I can receive them. I've also been to the store where I purchased the SIM card and no one can help me.

@RanyaDube  Did you just port a number to Pub Mobile from another provider or has it been working for a while a suddenly stopped working?  This sounds like an incomplete port.  If just ported how long ago did you port?
