Hi, I was excited to join Public Mobile but its been 6 hrs since I made the transfer and I cannot receive calls or texts but can make calls. I also can use data. Can someone please tell me what is going on? It shouldnt take this long to transfer my number from another provider.

Have you tried to reboot your phone? How about reset your network settings and reboot? If you put in your other providers SIM card, do you still have service? If so, the port did not work and we can send you a number to call. But please first confirm these questions so we can better help you. Also, have you tried your PM SIM card in another phone?

For mobile lines transfers, it should have been done by now. If porting over from landline or VOIP, it takes several business days.
Assuming you are transferred a mobile line, I will private message you the Telus team porting phone number. Only to be used for porting issues.
