Problems receiving calls from Canada while in the USA

I am currently in the USA with my cell phone and when my son tries to call me he is getting busy signal even though my cell phone is not in use?

Switching to T-MOBILE seems to have solved the problem for now. Thank you 😊

I have the Samsung S21 FE  and I can call & text to Canada no problem. Just when my son tries to call me from Canada it is not coming through?

hi @clevercook1251 

what phone do you have?  it can be an issue with VoLTE and your phone might not be on PM's volte whitelist

you can however, try connect to TMobile and change network mode to 2G and see if you can make  and receive calls.

if not, your last workaround is to use VoIP app like TextNow or Fongo
