How to use data while I'm abroad to the US?

I've never used my data outside of Canada and I would like to understand how to use it.

• I have the Canada-US-Mexico plan which includes 10 GB of data.
• I'm planning to visit the U.S. in less than a week for 3 weeks.

I've heard people mentioning about data roaming: is that a feature I need to enable on my phone?

@ronaldtain  For example all iPhone 8 and up are enabled for voLTE , one way to test it is turn off wifi on phone and set phone to 4G/LTE now make a phone call does the phone stay on LTE or drop to 3G if phone drops to 3G then voLTE is not enabled and you will most likely encounter issues with making phone calls but data and text should work . But if phone stays on LTE no worries your all set

@ronaldtain  Yes be sure to enable data roaming on and you should be good to go assuming you have voLTE enabled phone on public mobile white list
