Will be automatically applied I'm trying to pay for the new subscription plan that I have for the 45-dollar month for the 100 GB data 5G but how do I Ensure that plan is being activated so I could pay directly towards that versus my old plan

Did you make a plan change? The customer support agent is correct that the new plan price is supposed to take effect on it's on when you pre-schedule a plan change. However, being a customer for several years, I can tell you that make a manual payment for the new price plan ahead of time when swtiching to a more expensive plan is a actually a very good idea. There have long been issues with the Public Mobille payment systems that specfically cause it to sometimes apply an autopay charge that is for the lower amount of the two price plans. This then cause the account to go into suspension. Making a manual payment prevents these issues.

did you make a plan change? you use Change on Renewal ?
you can login back to My Account, go to Subscription and Addon page , or Change Subscription page, you will see it showing the new plan scheduled.
