How to gat account information and pay with different card

I forgot everything to retrieve my wife's account except the phone number. How can I now change the PRE authorize payment option. My wife's phone number is xxxx.

Her phone was disconnected in February due to an non payment issue of $38.00. Please help us to get her line back and running.

@Anonymous  based on your statement my understanding is now:

  • Making a payment via cc to does not require a pin
  • Buying addons requires pin number iirc.

I actually just tried, strange minimum amount starts at $20 

@wgomes1972  ding.com is currently waiving fees during the current crisis.

There are online vendors but they cost a small amount more than in stores. There are quite a number of stores that sell vouchers.

Online vendors: recharge.com, ding.com and xoom.com.

Can I buy the voucher online or through my account for my wife?

I've seen you say this a couple times now...611 will happily take your money from your pre-registered payment card without need of a PIN.

@dabr  Cheers! I've never had a suspended account to test it out. So.... @wgomes1972  you can ignore my ignorance and buy a voucher to reactivate the account and worry about recovering access to the accounts self serve later if reactivation is more important at the moment. Use of the credit card still requires the pin # on the account where as a voucher does not.

@darlicious   Just tried dialling 611 on the suspended account and it gives me the option to pay by voucher or CC, although I didn't proceed to the next steps as I'm not trying re-activate the account right now.

My suspended account gives me the option to make a payment by voucher by dialling 611 to reactivate the account. 

@mimmo  Is 611 accessible on your phone if you have no service? That was my concern.

@wgomes1972  try the password reset use any and all emails .  If you get to step 2 you at least find the email address associated.

 

@darlicious are you sure about 611 not bening able to add vouchers after a missed payment? It seems strange.

@wgomes1972  The easiest way to reactivate the account would be to purchase a voucher from a shell station, shoppers drug mart or london drugs and load it using 611.....which you cannot do if the phone is inactive....so ignore this advice.

 

Instead your only option is to contact the moderators by clicking on the (?) At the bottom right corner of the screen to submit a ticket via simon explaining your issue. Type in account specific issue and then type human and follow the prompts to submit your ticket. Keep an eye on the envelope icon next to your avatar at the top right corner of the screen for a little number to pop up indicating a message from the moderators. Responding promptly to messages will speed up service times. Be prepared to give info from the account to verify her identity such as name and address in account, email, ph#, dob, last payment type, amount, date and last four digits.
