Cannot access my account to close it. I want to pay off what l owe and close the account.

You can transfer over your phone #. If you don't wish to have your old phone just cancel the auto pay if you have one and the account will be deleted with your phone after 90 days without pay. The phone will stop working on your next pay period.

@Col42 Public Mobile is a prepaid service so you shouldn't owe anything but your account must be active in order to be able to port out.
Leave you PM SIM card in your phone as you will receive a text msg asking to confirm you want to port out, you will have 90 minutes to respond YES. After that, you can take the old PM SIM out and place the Virgin SIM in and wait 1 to 2 hours (typically) for the port to complete

To transfer over (transfer phone number) you will need to port your phone number. You can do this by signing up for Virgin Mobile and during the process for getting a phone number it should say transfer or port your number. Keep Public Mobile SIM in your phone. You will receive a text and you must reply YES within 90 minutes or request will be cancelled. After you respond YES then you can take old Public Mobile’s SIM and put in Virgin’s. When you port your account with Public mobile will be closed.
