How to build a plan with LTE data?

ndobs

I move between canada and the US a lot, and when I'm in the US I change my phone plan to be super barebone (just messaging) just to keep my number active with public.

Usually, when I come back to Canada, I use the build a plan tool to change back to a 90 day plan with LTE data. However, with this new rebrand, I can't find the plan builder even though they mention there's a "Plan Calculator" on the Plans page.

How do I get my  phone plan back? I'd like a plan that isn't data only and doesnt rely on 3G speed.

Thanks

@ndobs If you still really need 4G data I suggest waiting for Dotmobile.

There a new carrier startup close to launch. Their base plan includes Canada/US calling and free roaming in the US. Data speeds are also LTE. Cant say much about price but they plan on competing with Public Mobile. Those features may interest you.

Edit: Oh God this is an old thread. Not sure why i saw it on the landing page.

Might be a dumb question, but are you certain you need LTE speed?

Welp I guess I'm gonna have to get a new phone plan, thats too bad public has been good to me for the last couple of years

The plan builder no longer exists.  You would either have to change to $60 plan  or purchase us roaming add-on.

@ndobs the $60 USA/Canada roaming plan may work for you. No LTE speeds in Canada but 8.5gb and 2gb in the USA. Unlimited talk text in both countries

No more build your own LTE data plans unfortunately

With the recent changes on the website, PM has gotten rid of the build your plan option at the present time.  Not sure when or if Public mobile will offer LTE plans in the future.  So, at the present time, you are unable to get your old plan back.

If you had not changed the plans before the rebrand, you would still be grandfathered with the LTE build your 90 day plan.
