How do I know my add on has been added to my plan?

I’m running out of data so I just purchased $15 for 1g, how do I know it’ll be added to the plan? I want to make sure it’s there and will be topped up...

any help please

@Michelle93  You can also renew early if you prefer. 

For Early Renewal make a one time payment equal to the cost of your plan then get a ticket https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html and request an early renewal of your current plan. There is no credit for the time you did not use.

To purchase Add-Ons using your Self-Serve account, follow these steps:

  1. Click on ‘Purchase Add- Ons’ on the Overview tab and scroll down to the Add-On calculator.
  2. Click the plus sign (+) to add and the minus sign (-) to remove selected Add-ons.
  3. When you’ve added all your desired Add-Ons, click ‘Buy Add-Ons’ or ‘Make a Payment’ below the calculator:
    • You will see ‘Make a Payment’ instead of ‘Buy Add-Ons’ if there are not enough funds in your account to make the purchase.
    • If you don’t have sufficient funds to purchase the Add-Ons, you will be asked to make a one-time payment equal to the price of the Add-On, less your current available funds. Click ‘Submit’, then ‘Go back’: now the button below the calculator will say ‘Buy Add-Ons’.
  4. Select ‘Confirm my purchase’, and you’re off to the races!
  • Check under data and add-ons in your account and there should be an amount xx/1024.

Buying an add-on is a 2 step process. You need to add the funds and then make the purchase.

 @Michelle93 : 1. If amount still in Available Funds then you didn't. 2. If amount not there then check Payment history to see that you paid in. 3. If you see the line item down in My Data & Add-ons then you bought it.
