You can always buy add-ons data. It is costly though, but the data does not have any expiry date. Also, if you are new to Public Mobile, know that every Christmas (at least for last 2 that I have been using PM) they give free data. On 2019 they gave 1 GB and 400 minutes US-Canada talk time and on 2020 they gave 2 GB Data and 500 Minutes International Talk Time. May be they will give more this year 🙂

@Anonymous wrote:@Yummy : Just so wording is clear...the OP is wanting data add-ons...not minutes. The only in-Canada minutes available in 611 are to the US.
All countable features will show up on the overview page. Unlimited features show up in Plan Details. ie. roaming talk and text.
Thank you for clarification. Appreciate!!!

Purchasing an add-on after logging in into your PM account is a two step process. You need to load funds first and then purchase add on.
Those add-ons don't show up on the overview page. You need to click on Plan Details to see them.

add-ons can be bought by calling 611 or using your CC on file apart from using a voucher code if you have card registered for autopay.

To purchase an add on:
- Add funds to your account balance. This can be done via the card registered to the account or by adding a voucher either thru self serve or by calling 611. Your 4 digit account pin# is required to use your credit card thru 611.
- Go to the plans and add ons page. Scroll down to the add ons section and choose the add on you want to purchase. Note: US 10 day roaming add one start the moment you submit your purchase on a 24 hour clock (10×24=240hrs)and expire 240 hours later. You must wait at least 24 hours before repurchasing the same roaming add on.
- Once you have ticked the desired add on scroll down to the bottom of the page and confirm and submit your purchase.
- Check your overview page for your add on to appear at the bottom left of the page. Then log out and reboot your phone.
- All add ons ( except US roaming add ons) have no expiry date. They are a one time purchase that rolls over every 30 days until completely consumed.

@jrprvs2000 Buy data is a manual step but it can use the credit card on file,
You can first of all load enough fund using Payment-> Manual Top up and use Other to load enough money for the add-on. PM will take money out of the credit card on file. Once paid, you will see the amount there as Available Fund
then you can head over to Add-on and purchase the add-on and it will use the Available fund in your account for the purchase

How To Purchase Add-Ons Using Your Self-Serve Account
To purchase Add-Ons using your Self-Serve account, follow these steps:
- Click on ‘Purchase Add- Ons’ on the Overview tab and scroll down to the Add-On calculator.
- Click the plus sign (+) to add and the minus sign (-) to remove selected Add-ons.
- When you’ve added all your desired Add-Ons, click ‘Buy Add-Ons’ or ‘Make a Payment’ below the calculator:
- You will see ‘Make a Payment’ instead of ‘Buy Add-Ons’ if there are not enough funds in your account to make the purchase.
- If you don’t have sufficient funds to purchase the Add-Ons, you will be asked to make a one-time payment equal to the price of the Add-On, less your current available funds. Click ‘Submit’, then ‘Go back’: now the button below the calculator will say ‘Buy Add-Ons’.
- Select ‘Confirm my purchase’, and you’re off to the races!
after you Add-on you have to do Rebooting your phone
what is mean for Rebooting the phone means to turn off your phone and turn it back on again.

@jrprvs2000 : Autopay is unrelated to buying add-ons. You need sufficient balance in Available Funds to buy add-ons. You can add money with that pre-registered payment card you already have for autopay. Then buy the add-on.
