Hotspot provides no internet to connected devices!

Using android 10 OS. I can create a hotspot, but the connected device (USB or wifi) receive no internet connection. The common fix of adding "dun" is "blocked by carrier"

The APN settings are set according the PM page. Data works on my phone, and I can send/receive mms no problem. It's ONLY when hot spotting.

 @lokiguy : Adding ,dun no spaces? Try also ,DUN as mentioned earlier. Maybe post screenshots of your APN settings.

Edit: Oh and be sure to save it and select it to be the active one and then flip in/out of airplane mode.

I tried adding "dun" using the Freedom Mobile SIM card to the APN and it still wouldn't work on my Ouikitel WP6.

The following link may have the correct APN that will work for you but look at the post that follows it first and try adding DUN that way.

Are you turning off your wifi when trying to hotspot?

Try resetting your phone's network settings.

Find and tap Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options > Reset network settings.

This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.

Try instead to add DUN.

HI @Jahnj0584   What brand and model is your phone?

 @Jahnj0584 : Well you're going to need to work around that then. Can you create a whole new APN and include the dun. Can you use a dead Freedom SIM from a store and edit or add it. There might be an adb trick to do but that's a bit technical. But maybe you're technical.

Edit: and there's a remote chance that the CSA's could push you the settings via a text attachment.
