hi,
I have question regarding data usage calculation. say, my billing cycle starting from each month 4th, and today is 10th, I checked my data usage on PM that showing 165M, but from my own phone the data usage since the day one of this month is 66M, which is different. is the calculation on my phone incorrect? any idea?
thanks.

Almost always the data usage meter in your Public Mobile account is the most accurate up to the minute ( try "refresh") monitor of your data usage.
The usage history in your account updates twice daily. If added up back to Day 1 of your 30 day cycle (not monthly) it will be accurate up to the last reported 12 hour period.
Depending on your time zone your phone's data usage if set to the correct calendar date of your renewal should be relatively accurate. Your data usage resets at midnight eastern upon renewal. If you are outside of the eastern time zone your phone's data tracking will be off by +/- 1.5 to 3 hours unless you limit data usage during that time period on your renewal date.
Also your phone may record data usage used for MMS texts that Public Mobile does not count against your mobile data.
Public Mobile's data buffer has increased from approximately 5mb to 100mb. This resets each night but can cause issues if you have the old $15 plan with just 250mb of plan data.
It sounds like your account is just showing the 100mb data buffer. If you toggle airplane mode on and check your account your data usage should reset back to 65/66mb.

Hello @tommyliuca1
First, Public Mobile is 30 day plans. Not by the month. So over time the starting date will change. Second, Public Mobile updates the data usage twice a day. Usually 10 am 10 pm or 11am 11pm... depends on your location. Hope this helps
