back in July 2024, i ported my cell number from Rogers. after successfully activating a e-sim with Public mobile, i left the country. during my time away, my VISA expired and a new card was sent as a result. i returned to canada last night and found out my public mobile number is no longer working. can you assist in helping me retrieve my old cell number back and re-activate an account with public mobile?

i can't advise on that, we are just customers here
you need to message PM using the link above. If your Visa expires Oct, the account would have closed around Jan. it has been 2 months, so, PM could have returned the number back to Rogers

if Oct or Nov renewal failed, then your Public Mobile account has been deactivated. You'll need a new sim to start a new account but you also need a different email address.

i think my old VISA expired October. so no payment was able to be made since last year October. can you advise if PM can re-activate my account using my old cell number?

you know how long you have missed the payment? When no payment is made, account suspended. And account suspended for longer than 90 days will be permanently closed.
Since the number was from Rogers, PM probably cannot help, you need to ask Rogers and try from there
but if the account was closed not long ago, maybe PM still can help (they don't send the number back to Rogers that quick), ask PM. Since you cannot properly login, you won't be able to open the preferred Chatbot ticket. So, you will need to message them here:
