I unsubscribed from my Public Mobile account on May 9. I was not able to remove my credit card info at that time. The system does not allow it.
When I looked at my credit card statement I was charged again on the renewal date of June 6.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Same here. I was charged $5.95 in June after unsubscribed.

WHY don't you ALL initiate action to rename this 'subscribe'/'unsubscribe' process. It IS very confusing even for existing customers being here for a while.
This isn't something that the oracles can change. These matters are decided by Public Mobile.

It is not right that when you unsubscribe a customer cannot at the same time, without the inconvenience of communicating with an agent through this portal.
When you unsubscribe your credit card info should be removed automatically.
Public Mobile has very poorly named the process. Unsubscribing, as Public Mobile calls it, has nothing to do with unsubscribing from the service. It's only unsusbscribing/disabling the autopay process.

If what computergeek541 has suggested doesn't work you can also contact support by sending them a message here: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437
Make sure to keep an eye on your community inbox to see when they reply.
