I closed out my Public Mobile account and had my number ported out on June 28, 2024. But, I realized that I was charged for my next billing period starting June 28. I am requesting to be reimbursed for this payment. Thanks.

Unfortunately, PM is a prepaid plan so normally there are no refund but you can try asking a CS_Agent by typing in Submit a Ticket on the Chat bubble.
Best to be nice and explain to them that you ported out on your renewal date and let us know how it turned out.
