@scoutisland Do you see a > or something similar bottom left of your account page? If you tap on that it should open a slider with the profile option. Then you go to My Phone Number, and tap the pencil next to the sim card number to put in your new one. If that doesn't get you there, what device are you using to access your account?
when was your account last Active ? If it's been longer than 90days since last renewal expired...then your PM account has been deactivated. You'll need a new sim to start a new account...even need a different email address. You can use the same credit card though. If less than 90 days, that sim will/should still work in your A8. Put the sim in the A8, boot it up and see if it shows as Public Mobile in the top corner.
OK. Have you gone into your profile and changed the SIM card number to your new number? If so, I know this will sound dumb but, did you reboot? If you haven't changed your SIM card number under your profile, you'll need to do that.
no need for new sim. Take sim outta old phone and install in new phone. As long as your old account wasn't deactivated (after 90 days in Suspension)...old sim will still be fine then.
@scoutisland Was the old sim in original phone dead too? Otherwise you just had to switch the sim card to the other phone. Did you go into your account and change the sim number when you got the new sim?
