Full Bars 5G Internet SLOW

Just switched to public mobile and very disappointed.  Phone showing full bars 5G and it takes 30 seconds for a Google search page to open??? Never had issues with Rogers. 

Any suggestions?

download is VERY good.  Upload for 9 to 27 is not bad.  That is a decent speed for regular internet usage, you are not running a server for others, you don't need the super speed

I would try again in different area.  Also , maybe try using 4G or LTE.  It is not 5G , but you can still get as good the speed.  Maybe the 5G area is not as good

and what phone do you have?

Reset the network settings. Downloads super fast at 296 but uploads are painful stil. 9 - 27 max. Are uploads throttled?

but I think you need to do a Reset All Networks to make it right

Also, if iPhone, make sure you have the latest Carrier Profile

and try to get a number for the speed.  Download a speed test app and run couple test on Mobile data and check the speed.  Please let us know the downlaod and upload speed

Because you transferred from Rogers, their data may still be within your network settings. Best to go in there and reset your networks and then reboot. If you're still having slow speeds, please contact a CS Agent to reset your network on their end or figure out what's happening.
