Hello, does anyone know if these minutes can be used when travelling in the United States? Or are they only for calling from Canada? Thx.

If you are traveling in the US and have wi-fi.  You can use apps like Fongo, WhatsApp, Skype, or Textnow.  If you need phone or cell service for an extended period the check mintmobile.com.

@sidinvictoria  For the US you need to purchase a US Roaming add-on.

If traveling in the USA, you will need to buy a 10 day US roaming package to call back to Canada or anywhere else in the USA.

@sidinvictoria , you would need a US Roaming add-on for any call you would like to make while traveling in the US.

No only while in Canada. And you can call the following.

International calling covers the following countries: Canada, United States, China, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Italy, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, and Venezuela
