I've observed that the PM has recently made eSIM available to existing users. Currently, I'm on a $15 plan and using the old reward program (I heard there is a new one for new users). I'm also using a physical SIM card in my iPhone 13. I'm interested in switching to eSIM but have a few questions:
If I switch to eSIM, will it affect my current reward program? Like will my existing rewards, like loyalty pay, be reset? And holiday giveaway Data and minutes gone?
I understand that eSIM cannot be transferred to a new device. Does this mean that if I factory reset my phone, I'll need to purchase a new eSIM as well?

@TT818 You can charge to eSIM and change your plan and it won’t affect your old $ rewards they are tied to your account not your plan or sim type . But honey I’d prefer physical sim and won’t change to eSIM until I’m forced to because each time you change devices you will. Red to buy a new eSIM but with physical sim you just pop it out of the old phone and into the new phone

Changing to an eSIM doesn't change your rewards, nor does it change your plan. As to whether the eSIM could be preserved after a factory reset , this depends on the software of the device.
