my esim shows public mobile but unknown number and can't make calls and recieve.

hi @vc711 

can you tell us if you have iPhone or Android?

is the sim showing active? Make sure other carrier sim cards are removed, if other carriers are eSIM, delete or disable them

So, we need only PM eSIM to be active.  Make sure it is set as Primary and Enabled Turn on this line

Then try reboot phone once more.

@vc711  try resetting network settings see if that helps
