My Blu Vivo XI+ has enhanced 4G LTE mode. Should I have it on? Does it improve service on PM?

Agreed with @Anaron, it's the Android 9 switch for VoLTE and RCS. It has no effect on PM because there's no VoLTE yet. I would just leave it on in case we get VoLTE at some point.

This switch is not related to CA or LTE-Advanced.

That setting is for Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE). Public Mobile does not support that feature so enabling it won't make a difference. So far, only the Big 3 and their flanker brands support it (e.g. Rogers, Bell and Telus + Fido, Virgin Mobile and Koodo) and only for select devices.

Had seen it for a while and never knew. Will give it a try.

@tehowennathe, it is a good thing.  On the phone, there is no separate network connection for LTE+.  If you enable LTE preferred, you will get either of LTE or LTE+.  LTE+ offers an improvement in performance which is a good thing.

@tehowennathe Use what works the best. LTE speed is fast enough to use it on default LTE. Either way, your phone should automatically change the mode depending on the signal you're getting.

@tehowennathe not sure.  Sounds like it might be LTE-Advanced/LTE+.  If so, it's totally fine to leave it on.  If you are on a "3G" speed data plan, it's not going to make any noticeable difference.  If you're on a full speed data plan, it might.  Nope, I'm wrong.  Please see replies by @Anaron and @sheytoon for more info.
