Emergency calls only- purchased international calls.

Hi!, I am currently travelling and I purchased the international calls add on, making sure that the country I was staying at was included, However now that I am here (Spain) I don´t have any service, it only says emergency calls only.

@aurorita   are you trying to call home (Canada)?  If so, from where you can get Wifi, download Fongo or TextNow and you can call Canada for free.  It works as long as you have Wifi or Mobile Data

If you need to call locally in Spain, get a Prepaid SIM there.  It is very common in Europe and it is cheap.

You can contact customer support and explain your misunderstanding of the international calling add on and see if they are willing to remove it from your account and credit the cost back to your account balance.

Prepaid sim card/plans are readily available in shops throughout Spain. For around €10 you can  purchase a plan with domestic calling/texting, some international minutes and about 12gb of data.

Sorry, but Public Mobile service does not work in Spain.  Public Mobile can only be used in Canada and the U.S., with use in the U.S. requing a roaming add-on.  There is no roaming offered anywhere else.  

The add-on that you purcahsed doesn't allow for roaming, but rather includes long distance minutes. It only allows for outgoing calls to specific countries while you are in Canada.
