I just had my email address reset and am still unable to access my account. I am being directed as if I’m a new customer.

@Blakey2 have you been trying to access your account through a web browser? If so, try clearing the browser's cache or signing in incognito, or you could try using another browser. Another option would be trying to sign into your account through the Public Mobile app. If none of these suggestions help contact customer support using the link @hTideGnow has shared already
